Frequently Asked Questions

I want to get a video photo album. What do I need to do?
Your first step is choosing what photos you want in the video and putting them in the order you wish them to appear. Around 100 photos is usually a good number for an album that gives plenty of time to view each photo. Having them in order is essential, as we may not be able to tell the age of a photo or how it fits into your sequence.

Do the photos have to be in chronological order?
It is really up to you. A video photo album is a way to tell a story, and chronological order is one way to tell that story. You could also have the photos grouped by life stage, location, relationships, or some other organization you develop. What is important is that the order makes sense to you. One example of album organization is for a wedding album: the bride grows up, the groom grows up, and then the bride and groom together.

How far in advance does IN-Focus Digital need the photos?
Ideally, we would like at least 2 weeks before the event to have the photos. Sometimes that is not possible, as in the case of a funeral. In such a case, a $50 rush charge will be added to the total. Otherwise, 2 weeks gives us plenty of time to scan each photo, repair minor things like red eye and scratches, and get an approval copy to you before the event.
